This Publisher's note is to replace an article, destined for a special issue, which was accidentally published electronically in this regular issue of the journal. This article has now been removed and will be published at a later date with the doi: 10.1016/j.eurpsy.2017.12.006.

In order to preserve the integrity of the scientific citation process the article which followed it: “Prediction of violent crime on discharge from secure psychiatric hospitals: a clinical prediction rule (FoVOx)”(S. Fazel) has retained its original pagination and as a result of this a skip in the issue pagination from 77 to 87 will be present in both the printed and electronic versions of the journal. The Publishers apologise for any inconvenience caused by this error.
