Extract

While collecting in Menai Straits in July, 1932, Professor Orton found three specimens of an Edwardsia-like anemone. They were kept alive in finger bowls for several months; and when they were examined in the following November about two dozen young anemones were discovered with them. These Professor Orton kindly showed to me, and suggested a further examination of th young and adults.
