The Editors appreciate the commentary that led to the opportunity to correct a misinterpretation of Quadlin (2018) in this article (Caballero 2021). The author originally stated “women are more likely to be negatively evaluated for jobs in academia,” citing Quadlin (2018). However, Quadlin’s findings indicate the opposite for entry-level positions.
