Summary

I am a social worker who has worked in the fertility field in Melbourne, Australia since 1991. I was attracted to this area as my parents had struggled to conceive. I initially worked at IVF units where I developed a particular interest in donor conception issues. I became particularly interested in donor linking so moved to the Victorian Assisted Reproductive Treatment Authority (VARTA) to concentrate on this. As the manager of the Donor Register Services, I led a team of counselors who supported and connected donor-conceived people, parents and donors.
