Summary

You come with easels full of dreams

Your pulsating finger itching

To carve stones that speak a new language

From long faces simple as innoccence

You walked the streets of Montparnasse

Montrouge and sometimes saw your flickering

Image in the river Seine

At sunset

You were high more often than not

Writers tell us

Ravaged by illness with dreams undaunted

You painted

Drew lines and people that live

in the centre of our visions

Your elongated faces echo our African ancestors

Simple economic and proud

I will buy you a dog!
