Reflecting the mission of business school faculty to disciplinary and applied research, the Cambridge Library on Leading Management Thought and Practice is dedicated to:* Cutting edge original scholarship with publication each monograph determined on basis of rigorous peer-review * Communicating implications of leading edge research for practising managersThe Cambridge Library of Leading Management Thought and Practice accordingly consists of two distinct strands1. Defining Management Thought - a scholarly series in which leading scholars explore the frontiers of management research. The book length format allows scholars to develop, analyse and discuss ideas in greater depth than is possible in a journal article or review chapter. Books will be based on original research and will be subjected to rigorous peer review by both the series Editorial Advisory Board and external referees.2. Defining Management Practice - selected titles from the scholarly series will be rewritten specifically to meet the needs of the reflective - but busy - manager, drawing out implications for practice of the advanced theoretical ideas and insights of eminent management scholars.
