DVT Popliteal Vein

In this popliteal system, the vein (labeled V) is noncompressible when pressure is applied.

This popliteal vein thrombosis demonstrates how veins can become quite enlarged when occluded.

In this popliteal system, powerflow Doppler demonstrates a clear filling defect in the popliteal vein consistent with a thrombus partially occluding the vessel.
