Founded by the Association for the Study of Modern Italy (ASMI) in 1995, Modern Italy publishes leading research on the history, politics and social, economic and cultural life of Italy and the Italian peoples from the eighteenth century to the present. Transnational Environmental Law (TEL) is a peer-reviewed journal for the study of environmental law and governance beyond the state. It approaches legal and regulatory developments with an interest in the contribution of non-state actors and an awareness of the multi-level governance context in which contemporary environmental law unfolds. TEL has a broad disciplinary focus open to scholarly contributions covering a wide range of environmental issues and the evolving dynamics between environmental law and other legal disciplines. TEL strives for a new generation of environmental scholarship that will bridge geographical boundaries, scholarly styles and generations.

The International Journal of Asian Studies (IJAS) is an interdisciplinary, English-language forum for research in the humanities and social sciences. Its purpose is to foster multi-directional communication in the global Asian studies community. IJAS examines Asia as a region, emphasizing patterns and tendencies that go beyond the borders of individual countries. The Editors welcome theoretical and empirical research, including interdisciplinary approaches that cross methodological boundaries, comparative perspectives that draw on data from multiple regions, and the development of new methodologies. The committee encourages submissions from Asian studies researchers globally, and especially welcomes the opportunity to introduce the work of Asian scholars to an English-language readership.
IJAS is published by Cambridge University Press in association with the Institute for Advanced Studies on Asia, University of Tokyo.

Medical History is a refereed journal devoted to all aspects of the history of medicine, health and related sciences, with the goal of broadening and deepening the understanding of the field, in the widest sense, by historical studies of the highest quality. It is associated with the Asian Society for the History of Medicine. The membership of the Editorial Board reflects the commitment to the finest international standards in refereeing of submitted papers and the reviewing of books. The journal publishes in English, but welcomes submissions from scholars for whom English is not the first language; language and copy-editing assistance will be provided wherever possible.

The Journal of French Language Studies is a bilingual journal that publishes significant work on French theoretical and applied linguistics including but not limited to synchronic and diachronic studies focusing on phonetics/phonology, morphology, syntax, lexis and semantics. Sociolinguistic, variation, corpus, first and second language acquisition, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Global South, digital humanities studies are all welcome as long as they are based on current theories and solid methodologies. In addition to standard French, we are also interested in all Gallo-Romance dialects (including varieties such as Picard, Franco-Provençal, etc.). Survey Articles reviewing the state of the art in a major field will also be considered as well as work in progress for the French Research Notes section and Book Reviews. Special Issues are published once a year and suggestions are welcome year-round. La Revue d’Etudes de linguistique française est une revue bilingue qui publie des travaux importants sur la linguistique théorique et appliquée du français, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, des études synchroniques et diachroniques axées sur la phonétique/phonologie, la morphologie, la syntaxe, le lexique et la sémantique. Les études sociolinguistiques, de variation, de corpus, d'acquisition d'une langue première et seconde, le traitement automatique du langage naturel (PNL), les études du Sud global, les humanités numériques sont toutes les bienvenues tant qu'elles sont basées sur des théories actuelles et des protocoles solides. Outre le français standard, nous nous intéressons également à tous les dialectes gallo-romans (y compris les variétés telles que le picard, le franco-provençal, etc.). Seront également pris en considération les articles faisant l'état de l'art dans un domaine majeur, ainsi que les travaux en cours pour la section French Research Notes et les Revues de livres. Les numéros spéciaux sont publiés une fois par an et les suggestions sont les bienvenues tout au long de l'année.

The Journal of Chinese History / publishes research articles, review essays, and book reviews on all periods of Chinese history and all sub-specialties of history—social, cultural, political, economic, and intellectual. The journal aims to keep its readers abreast of important trends in historical scholarship and welcomes inquiries about review essays and special issues on focused topics. Innovative articles of any length will be considered, but there is a preference for articles of broad interest to Chinese historians and ones of moderate length (8,000 to 14,000 words).

The Cambridge Journal of Postcolonial Literary Inquiry is a new peer-review journal that aims to deepen our grasp of postcolonial literary history, while enabling us to stay comprehensively informed of all critical developments in the field. The journal provides a forum for publishing research covering the full spectrum of postcolonial critical readings and approaches, whether these center on established or lesser known postcolonial writers or draw upon fields such as Modernism, Medievalism, Shakespeare and Victorian Studies that have hitherto not been considered central to postcolonial literary studies, yet have generated some of the best insights on postcolonialism. The journal aims to be critically robust, historically nuanced, and will put the broadly defined areas of literature and aesthetics at the center of postcolonial exploration and critique.

The Business and Human Rights Journal (BHRJ) provides an authoritative platform for scholarly debate on all issues concerning the intersection of business and human rights in an open, critical and interdisciplinary manner. It seeks to advance the academic discussion on business and human rights as well as promote concern for human rights in business practice. BHRJ strives for the broadest possible scope, authorship and readership. Its scope encompasses interface of any type of business enterprise with human rights, environmental rights, labour rights and the collective rights of vulnerable groups. The Editors welcome theoretical, empirical and policy / reform-oriented perspectives and encourage submissions from academics and practitioners in all global regions and all relevant disciplines. A dialogue beyond academia is fostered as peer-reviewed articles are published alongside shorter ‘Developments in the Field’ items that include policy, legal and regulatory developments, as well as case studies and insight pieces.
