Park and Ride
Cambridge is well served by 4 Park and Ride sites around the city.
Buses depart every 10 minutes at peak times, parking is free for up to 18 hours, enjoy free onboard Wi-Fi and help to reduce emissions and congestion in the city.

Train
There is a fast and frequent train service to Cambridge from London King’s Cross (45 minutes), London Liverpool Street (1 hour 15 minutes) and Stansted Airport (30 minutes). There are also services from the Midlands, East Anglia and the North along with excellent connections from Scotland via Peterborough.
Cambridge train station is a 10 minute taxi ride from the Pitt Building. Alternatively, ‘Citi’ bus routes 1, 3 and 7 serve the train station to/from the city centre.

Bus
Plan your journey to the Pitt Building by bus using the Cambridgeshire journey planner. Your destination will be Trumpington Street. Don’t forget to save the Pitt Building as one of your destination favourites, making it quicker to plan your journey next time you visit us.

Cycle
We are pleased to offer secure cycle parking at the Pitt Building .
Cambridge is often referred to as the city of cycling. One in 3 journeys in Cambridge is made by bike and with a large network of dedicated cycle paths, lanes, bridges, traffic signals and bike parks it is not hard to see why cycling is one of the most popular forms of transport in the city.

Car
The Pitt Building is easily accessible from several major road networks including the M11, M1/A1 and A14.
We do not offer parking on site but instead encourage our visitors and delegates to make use of the many excellent walking, cycling and public transport options available around Cambridge (including the Park and Rides, see below). If it is essential that you travel by car we can pre-arrange parking with a nearby hotel. Please contact us at enquiries@pittbuilding.org for further information.
The Grand Arcade car park is the nearest multi-storey car park to the city centre and is a short 10 minute walk from the Pitt Building.
