Summary

BY EYE-SLIT, by blood-drum, by clumsy pats along your arm, by

bracing thighs and heaving up you almost stood, but slumped.

I listen to you sleep, sawn limbs whispering wood to the head,

an assemblage made of the parts you came from.

There is someone else in this room, I said as the ghost blew from my mouth,

made a taste bordering on burnt and to your caved body

unfed, no end to its wound, went. The home gone to is not this home.
