For our religious studies program, I am focusing on Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, with a primary focus on four historic periods: the ancient world, including the ancient Near East, Egypt, Greece, and Rome; late antiquity; Reformation and Counter-Reformation Europe; and the modern and contemporary worlds.

I welcome monograph proposals for topics that focus on the scripture, theology, and history of religion. I am actively commissioning a range of Cambridge Companions and reference works, including Cambridge Histories. I am also interested in proposals for books and Elements, our new 'short book' series that would be suitable for use in undergraduate and graduate classrooms.

My primary areas of focus in the archaeology list are European prehistory; the ancient Mediterranean world, including the ancient Near East, Egypt, Greece, and Rome; China; and ancient Mesoamerica and South America. Monographs on key topics on the archaeology of these regions are a key part of my commissioning. I welcome proposals for our key series – Cambridge World Archaeology, Cambridge Manuals in Archaeology, and Case Studies in Early Societies, as well as for our new Elements program. I am also interested in proposals for books and content that can be used in undergraduate and graduate courses, as well as major reference books.

I manage an art history program that focuses on ancient Near East, Egyptian, and classical art, as well as the classical tradition in Western art, with particular focus on Byzantine, medieval Italian, and Renaissance, up to AD 1600.

I am also interested in proposals for books and content that can be used in undergraduate and graduate courses, as well as major reference books.
