Summary
A church bells the birds
Over the roofs of Perugia and a blue haze in a gauze-fall
sprawls out long
Along the walls; the sun
's light hits not hard the hills, but holds
Them. Still—.
And stills their green velocities
Until such time such sky it has attained that by its own wild
Rising are they unrestrained, and left to wester, rolling, fast
And shadow-
Less.
