COUNTER 5 Usage Reports on Cambridge Core
About COUNTER
COUNTER provides a code of practice for reporting on the usage of electronic resources in a consistent way. This code of practice allows libraries to make purchasing decisions based on user activity and ensure budgets are spent appropriately. By having consistent reports, libraries are able to compare the performance of resources more accurately and with reduced effort.
About COUNTER 5
COUNTER 5 is the latest release of the COUNTER Code of Practice. It delivers many improvements over the previous release by introducing new metric types that improve consistency and clarity, and improved flexibility by introducing attributes, pieces of information which can be associated with multiple metrics.
