Cambridge Journals Archive now available throughout Russia

The 2011 Cambridge Journals Digital Archive Complete Collection is now available online to all universities, research institutes, colleges and educational institutions in Russia.

This national agreement has been made possible by the generosity of the Russian Ministry of Education and the hard work of both our partners Neicon in Russia and our colleagues in Cambridge.

I am visiting Moscow and St.Petersburg in April 2012 and would be pleased to meet with librarians who have questions about the archive and Cambridge Journals.

In the meantime, could all librarians wishing to gain access to the archive please visit http://www.login.neicon.ru and click to accept the sub-licence. After accepting the licence you will be sent detailed instructions by Neicon. Please note that there is no financial obligation.

Archive Information
The 2011 Cambridge Journals Archive contains over 200 leading journal backfiles, comprising over 20,000 issues, over 630,000 issues and over 8 million linked references. All content has been scanned and digitized to a high level of quality from the original published material and reproduced as high-resolution, searchable PDFs. Article headers and references are created as HTML files to allow easy access to data and reference linking between articles. Archive title lists are available in KBART format to assist with administration, linking and article discovery.
