Ahmed’s artworks have been exhibited at prestigious venues worldwide, including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Rome, and Sotheby’s Gallery in London.
Ahmed states ‘my journey in art has always revolved around understanding of people’s emotions and thoughts. Most of my artworks are a reflection of my own feelings, and I often strive to translate other individual’s emotional experiences into visual forms that they can relate to‘.
Asked about his artwork “What Do You Feel” on the cover of BJPsych International, Ahmed said – ‘When we’re asked about our feelings and struggle to express them, it feels like a conflict within us. Different emotions compete to be expressed first, but there’s no clear winner. Despite appearing calm, this inner struggle is ongoing, with the hope that “Happiness” eventually prevails‘.
