FAQs
Can we hire a room to host our summer school for a couple of hours – and how much would it cost?
We strongly encourage a half-day, or full-day room hire. Generally, this is needed when factoring the time needed to set up your classroom space and for networking afterwards. However, if this model does not fit with your summer school event, we will be happy to offer a tailored solution for you.
Can we book a classroom for multiple days?
Yes, of course. As long as we have availability we can accommodate multi-day bookings. We may also be able to offer a discount for repeat bookings. We get booked up very quickly with summer schools during July and August, so we would advise booking our rooms up to a year in advance.
What is included in the room hire rate?
Our classroom hire packages include the use of our A/V equipment, such as projection facilities and a laptop for each room. We also offer still and sparkling water, pads and pens on request, whiteboards and Wi-Fi access.
Can we bring our own catering?
Unfortunately, not. However, we do offer delicious lunches and a range of tempting refreshment break options. Your Event Manager will be very happy to discuss choices with you - contact us today.
Is the Pitt Building far from Cambridge city centre?
The Pitt Building stands at the heart of the city. So, by choosing our building and Cambridge for your summer school, you'll have many wonderful sights and sites just a short stroll away.
