A NEW SPECIES OF OENEIS (SATYRIDAE) FROM THE NORTH AMERICAN ARCTIC

Abstract

A new species, Oeneis excubitor, is described. This species has male valvae similar to those of Oeneis melissa and Oeneis jutta but the wing pattern is roughly similar to that of Oeneis chryxus.

Résumé

On décrit une nouvelle espèce Oeneis excubitor. Les genitalia du mâle sont semblables à ceux d'Oeneis melissa et Oeneis jutta mais la nervation alaire est en gros similaire à celle d'Oeneis chryxus.
