Some Faults in our Latin Dictionaries

1 In the discussion that followed the reading of this paper before the American Philologieal Association in St. Louis, the point was made that a dictionary should also meet the needs of those students who are translating from English into Latin. The inclusion of this third class of students, however, would not materially affect the validity of my criticisms.
