Abstract

We present a numerical study on the behavior of the density power spectrum resulting fromcompressible hydrodynamic, thermally unstable simulations with different rms Mach numbersMrms. We find that the spectrum becomes shallower asM increases and that spectral index values that are consistent withthose reported from observations.
