Dr. Howe on Laura Bridgman


In the forty-third Annual Report of the Massachusetts Asylum for the Blind, Dr. Howe gives an interesting description of the method which he employed for the instruction of Laura Bridgman, who was totally blind and deaf, and who had only a very indistinct sense of smell.
