Observations on the Condition of the Blood in the Insane, based on One Hundred Examinations

In the series of observations made, the best marked examples of each type of insanity were taken; great care was taken to exclude the presence of inflammatory and other pathological conditions, and also physiological blood changes were as far as possible excluded, e.g., those resulting from the ingestion of food.
