[At the Annual Meeting in Birmingham, 1925, it was resolved that every mental institution should be circularized, recommending that nurses should enter for the Association's Preliminary examination at the end of their first year of study, and during their second year to enter for the First examination of the General Nursing Council, as this would enable them to take either or both Final examinations, and obtain a certificate in general nursing with least delay and difficulty.—Eds.]
