Abstract

The Spheroidal Graphites in cast iron and Ni-C alloy are extracted by using chloric acid or aqua regia and clean up using hydro-fluoric acid and hot water. The spheroidal graphite is crushed down till under five micron thickness wrapped by aluminium foil. The nucleus of spheroidal graphite can be observed by electron probe micro-analyser. Magnesium, Calcium, Cerium, Oxygen, Sulphur and Silicon etc. are recognized in the nucleus of spheroidal graphite.
