Abstract

We report angle-resolved uv photoemission measurements from ordered and disordered Cu3Au. We observe considerable changes in the photoemission spectra across the order-disorder transition which we attempt to correlate with recent electronic structure calculations. Overall, we find reasonable agreement between theory and experiment although we note some important discrepancies.
