In Liu et al. (Reference Liu, Li and Liu2014a ), the authors mistakenly left out a reference used in this article (Liu, Li, and Liu, Reliability of the structural data for calcite and dolomite extracted from X-ray powder diffraction by Rietveld refinement, Reference Liu, Li and Liu2014b ). The authors created an educational text with some differences between the models from the prior work. Additionally, the authors mistakenly left out the in-text reference to Table II (Young, Reference Young and Young1993). Finally, Table II has the error “Bong” that should have read “Bond”.

The authors regret the errors.
