* The performers who played with such dedication and beauty of tone included Sue Ann Kahn (the Pavlenko and Denisov works), John Solum (the Nagovtsin), Patricia Spencer (both Firsova works), PaulTaub (the Vasks as well as the Gubaidulina trio). The Flute Force – a fine group – performed Gubaidulina's quartet, while the pianists Andrew Willis, Todd Crow and Linda Hall admirably supported and blended with the flutists as did the violist, Rachel Evans and the harpist, Gillian Benet.
