Abstract

We present an iterative method for the determination of the potentialmap of the conducting skin coating on the surface of cast resin electricaldevices. The efficiency of the procedure is shown on an exactly solvable case(bus bar). For complex devices, it is shown that the original 3D problemoften degenerates into two standard 2D resolutions and one iteration. Thispoint is illustrated with a one-phase Cast Resin Transformer.
