Dr. Elizabeth Searing is an Assistant Professor of Public and Nonprofit Management at the University of Texas at Dallas. Dr. Searing’s primary research focus is the financial management of nonprofit and social enterprise organizations, but she also conducts work on comparative social economy more broadly. She is an Associate Editor and editorial board member of Nonprofit Management & Leadership, and an editorial advisory board member at VOLUNTAS and the Journal of Public Budgeting, Accounting and Financial Management.
Dr. Saurabh Lall is an Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) at the University of Glasgow’s Adam Smith Business School. His research agenda focuses on entrepreneurship and society and follows two broad tracks: social enterprise (including related concepts such as impact investing and venture philanthropy); and entrepreneurship in developing and emerging economies. Dr. Saurabh is co-author of the book Observing Acceleration: Uncovering the Effects of Accelerators on Impact-Oriented Entrepreneurs
Dr. Wenjue Knutsen is jointly appointed at Smith School of Business and School of Policy Studies at Queen's University. Her teaching and research interests include organizational behavior, nonprofit management and nonprofit theories, public management, organizational theory, social enterprises, and social impact bonds.
Dr. Micaela Mazzei is a Reader at the Yunus Centre for Social Business and Health, Glasgow Caledonian University, and currently a visiting Senior Research Associate at the University of Johannesburg and the RSA (Regional Studies Association) Scotland Section Chair. Dr. Mazzei’s research agenda focuses on social innovation and social economy, including understanding the contextual determinants of the social economy, social enterprise development and performance; understanding the dynamics of local (and regional) economies through the lens of a diverse economy approach
Dr. Fredrik O. Andersson is an Associate Professor at Indiana University’s Paul H. O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs in Indianapolis, and an affiliated faculty member with the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at IUPUI. His primary research focus is on nonprofit sector entrepreneurship and the emergence of new social ventures, as well as nonprofit organizational governance. Dr. Andersson is the Co-Editor-in-Chief of VOLUNTAS.
