Abstract

We show that in the Silver model the inequality $\mathrm {cov}(\mathfrak {C} _2) < \mathrm {cov}(\mathfrak {P}_2)$ holds true, where $\mathfrak {C}_2$ and $\mathfrak {P}_2$ are the two-dimensional Mycielski ideals.
