Theofanis Fotis is currently Senior Lecturer at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Brighton. He is a Captain Nurse (retired) of the Greek Air force, while he worked for over 12 years at the theatres of the 251 Hellenic Air force Hospital. He was specialized in minimal invasive vascular procedures, which is his subject of interest and research.

Theo is also a member of the editorial team of the American Journal of Vascular Nursing, the Hellenic Perioperative Nursing Journal, the Hellenic Journal of Nursing and the Hellenic Journal of Nursing Science.

He has published a number of articles in national and international journals on perioperative and surgical nursing and on health-care management issues.
