○ Formally (course, training, education, internship)
Being involved in important decisions
○ The experience of being listened to in, for example, work meetings, team discussions, management teams, work councils, participation councils, one-on-one meetings, and surveys
Having and building meaningful work-related contacts
○ Colleagues, clients/customers, supervisors, interns
Setting your own goals
○ Being heard in what matters to you: having influence on your tasks, being able to make proposals, being able to make choices
