On page 1, the article features an interview with Marine Le Pen published by El País, stating that Italy has received 240 billion euros in EU funds. Although the quote from Le Pen's interview is accurate, the authors wish to clarify that the correct figure is 194 billion.

On page 10, line 26, “Conversely, the probability of making critical or alternative statements EU is negatively associated with the likelihood of making critical or alternative political statements, though the strength and certainty of this relationship vary across models.” should be replaced with “Conversely, an increase in public support toward the EU is negatively associated with the likelihood of making critical or alternative political statements, though the strength and certainty of this relationship vary across models.”
