On p. 575, to clarify, Bentham was still in residence at Queen’s College, though he had also enrolled at Lincoln’s Inn.
On p. 576, n. 36, Blackstone’s postscript for the posthumously published 9th edition of his Commentaries (1783) was reprinted from the 8th edition (1778), which appeared before his death in 1780.
