Information

Acknowledgments

This volume is like an iceberg: What you see reflects only a small part of the enormous efforts that lie below the surface.

The book authors and editors would like to thank Katherine J. Strandburg, Brett M. Frischmann, Michael J. Madison, and Madelyn Sanfilippo for their leadership in creating a wonderful, collaborative group of scholars and researchers within the field of the Knowledge Commons. Their willingness to provide feedback, structure, and guidance throughout the process has been invaluable.

This book would not have been nearly as good without the funding support from the National Science Foundation, General Knowledge Commons, Research Coordination Network grant, which also allowed us (and many others) to publish this book in an open-source format.

The editors would like to acknowledge the contributions made by the phalanx of graduate students from Indiana University involved in copy editing the chapter drafts, including Simon Sun, Yash Dutt Sharma, Madelyn Darlene Gamble, Max Fang, and Anirudh Diwakar.

Finally, our thanks go out to Matt Galloway, Jadyn Fauconier-Herry, and the team at Cambridge University Press for this editorial and production assistance. For additional funding and support, thanks go to Indiana University and the Ostrom Workshop, which support all of the editors in so many, immeasurable ways.
