In the original publication, the image on the right-hand side of Figure 17 (“carved deer from the High Tagus Valley”) was inadvertently attributed erroneously to Dr S. Garcês. The image originates instead in the work of Prof. Mario Varela Gomes (published in 2010) and permission for its inclusion and publication had not been obtained. The image has therefore now been removed. The author and publisher apologise to the owner of the image for this mistake.
