The present paper concentrates on several seemingly nonstandard cases of variability related to CP stars. Variability of magnetic CP stars with time scales different from rotational period, variability among the HgMn stars, variability of normal stars with variations similar to CP stars, and a relation between Be and CP stars are shortly discussed.
