The journal will be housed in the School of Government and International Affairs and in the School of Conflict Management, Peacebuilding and Development, both of which are part of the Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Kennesaw State University.

We are grateful to the work of the previous editorial team led by Victor Asal and to the editors and editorial board members that have been part of JPSE’s path to make it the journal that it is today.
The team consists of a diverse, female-majority group of scholars, including a female Editor-in-Chief, two BIPOC members, representatives from the major sub-disciplines within political science, and educators from a wide range of institutions, both within and outside the United States.”

The journal will be housed in the Department of Politics and International Affairs at Wake Forest University. The incoming editorial team is excited to share their vision and mission for the journal:
“Our team is both grateful and excited to have been selected to take over editing PS: Political Science and Politics! Thanks to the effective leadership of current editors Paul Gronke and Phillip Ardoin, we inherit a journal whose influence is both strong and increasing. The prime objective of our team is to reinforce the reputation of PS as a rigorous and highly visible outlet for impactful research which is relevant to all political scientists, especially research that may not fit into the other flagship journals of APSA. We want the journal to speak to political scientists working inside and outside of the academy, at every kind of academic institution, at every level of seniority (from undergraduates to senior professors), in every subfield, based anywhere in the world, utilizing any social scientific methodology, and at any intersection of personal identity.
We intend to make a focused effort to consult with a wide array of political scientists from our discipline to stay abreast of their concerns and follow trends in their areas of expertise. We are particularly interested in extending the international reach of PS and encouraging publications and the organization of symposia by scholars outside the United States with an emphasis on the Global South. We will continue to publish research about politics and pedagogy, including peer-reviewed symposia proposed by guest editors, but we also want to attract more and different kinds of submissions that are important and interesting to the entire field but an uncertain fit with other prominent outlets. We especially want to bring scientometric research, science about how political science works, to the pages of PS. To engage undergraduates in the running and the content of the journal, we are hiring a team of student editorial assistants to manage our social media presence, ensure the reproducibility of quantitative work, and assist with scientometric research using the data generated by the journal itself. And these are just a few of the initiatives we have planned; we look forward to hearing and implementing new ideas for PS from all over the discipline during our editorship.”
