When the Corporation Almost Displaced the Entrepreneur: Rethinking the Political Economy of Research and Development

Margaret B. W. Graham is a professor of Strategy and Organization at the Desautels Faculty of Management, McGill University. She holds an MBA and a PhD from Harvard University. Before joining McGill, she served on the faculties of the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and the Boston University School of Management. She was a founding director of Winthrop Group Inc., a firm specializing in History and Information Services. She also served four years on the senior staff of the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center. Since 1990 she has been a fund trustee of Pioneer Investments, an investment company owned by the Italian bank Unicredito.
