Figure 9.2 An example of an old, natural forest, which was first logged by CCF, but then clearcut as the remaining trees fell due to the clearcutting of an adjacent forest, usage of heavy machinery damaging roots, and winds. Since this photo was taken even the remaining trees have fallen or been felled, the clearcut expanding itself in this way naturally.
