Summary

In order to understand the lack of diversity in our American judicial system, this edited volume examines the intersectionality of race, ethnicity, gender, and sexual identity and the judiciary. It is our contention that, when compared to the composition of the general population across the country, the composition of courts is simply not representative of the people whom they serve.
