Summary

Jornalia roll of one of the chamberlains of the Exchequer, from the mid-point of Easter term 1296, covering the period 4 Aug. to 19 Sept. 1296.

Physical description: A roll of two membranes, sewn end-to-end; in good condition and wholly legible. Almost the whole of the roll is crossed through, however, so the validity of the entries is in question.

Scope of transcription: Entries relating to St Stephen's chapel; dates have been extracted from the left-hand column and details of payment from the right-hand column.
