Summary

Counter-roll of Robert of

Hillam, controller of the king's works at the palace of Westminster and the Tower of London, for the expenses of Walter of Weston, king's clerk of works at the same sites, for building works on St Stephen's chapel. It begins at the end of the regnal year 4 Edward III (23 Jan. 1331), and ends at the end of Exchequer year 7 Edward III (Michaelmas 1333).

Physical description: Membranes 15–25 of a roll of 25 membranes, sewn at the top; in good condition and wholly legible.

Scope of transcription: The first fourteen membranes were collated with E 101/469/11 (no. 23). Membranes 15–25 have been transcribed in full.
