Summary

Roll of liveries made to John of Ditton, the king's clerk of works at the palace of Westminster and the Tower of London, under various writs of liberate, beginning at the end of Michaelmas term 1319, listing the amounts and dates of payment, the first being on 3 March 1320 and the last on 23 Dec. 1322.

Physical description: A roll of one membrane, written on both sides; in good condition and wholly legible.

Scope of transcription: Transcribed in full, as the only source for the resumption of work on the chapel at this time.
