Summary

Folios 250r–250v contain documents concerning the aldermanry of the ward later called Farringdon Ward. There are no red-ink headings to the pages, nor have the initials been done, and the section is incomplete, as a note at the foot of f. 250r states: “Nota, vacati quia antea CCxvij”, where indeed, in another scribe's handwriting, the same documents can be found. Those copied here are almost exactly the same as those above, with only a very few minor spelling differences, especially in the spelling of names, a few errors of this scribe (noted), and apart from the notes added here of the dates of enrolment.
