Universis sancte matris ecclesie filiis presentes litteras inspecturis Johannes, decanus, & capitulum ecclesie Sancti Pauli London’ salutem in domino. Noverit universitas vestra quod cum dominus Willelmus de Swynflet, archidiaconus Norwicensis, Johannes de Bures, civis & pannarius London’, Johannes Coraunt & Henricus de Markeby, cives & aurifabri London’, & dominus Willelmus Calseby, capellanus, executores testamenti bone memorie & devoti viri deo & ecclesie nostre Johannis de Hyltoft, nuper civis & aurifabri London’, defuncti, de ipsius defuncti bonis quingentas & viginti libras sterlingorum pro salute anime ipsius et Alicie quondam uxoris sue & animarum omnium parentum & benefactorum suorum & omnium fidelium defunctorum, ad construendum de novo totam aream nostram a porta pistrini dicte ecclesie nostre usque ad cornerium ejusdem pistrini versus austrum & ab eodem cornerio usque ad quendam locum vocatum Gibbeshawe versus occidentem, in quo quidem loco domus ruinose & inutiles dudum existebant, pro omnibus nobis incumbendibus melius & lenius supportandis dederint & integraliter liberaverint numeratas. De qua quidem pecunie summa nos totam aream nostram predictam in longitudine a dicto cornerio versus occidentem quinquaginta & novem virgas ferreas & ab eodem cornerio versus aquilonem viginti & sex virgas ferreas continentem de novo edificari faciemus. De quorum quidem edificiorum redditibus possunt cunctis futuris temporibus omnia subscripta congrue supportari.
