The Board of Shakespeare Survey is looking for new members, with a particular encouragement for applications from early career colleagues, and to scholars of colour, in Shakespeare studies.
Board Members are formally appointed by the Syndics of Cambridge University Press for an unpaid three-year term. They typically advise the editor on submissions within their area of competence, help develop our network of contributors and readers, and bring new work, fresh ideas, and energy to our endeavours. Board members typically review 5-8 articles annually, attend an annual meeting, and contribute in ad hoc and advisory ways. For more information, or to propose yourself or one of your colleagues, contact the editor, Emma Smith (email@example.com), and to discuss the role, do contact current Board members including Ayanna Thompson, Hester Lees-Jeffries, or Mark Thornton Burnett.
