Summary

Most children will have PE at school as part of the curriculum, starting from Early Years until Year 11. Outside of school, many children will be involved in a sport or some form of physical exercise although not all share the same enthusiasm! There are a number of activities given below to get children and families active. Many organisations have produced resources that can be used at home. In addition, there are resources for students and teachers devising PE lesson plans and these too could be used at home. There are also some resources for PE activities with children with special educational needs or who need extra help through disability.
