Case 28 - Atypical Pleomorphic Adenoma

Summary

The patient was a 50-year-old male who presented with a slowly growing swelling of the left neck. On MRI examination, a 38 × 35 × 25 mm, irregularly shaped lesion, which exhibited low-signal intensity on T1- and T2-weighted images, was detected in the left submandibular gland. No involvement of the regional lymph nodes was present. Left submandibulectomy was performed.
