Summary
The morphological index contains all forms attested with Karaim grammatical suffixes. The only exceptions to this are zero suffixes denoting the nominative and indefinite accusative case. Other than Karaim grammatical forms (e.g. the word pen < arch. Pol. pen, which is a genetive plural form in Polish) are not enclosed in the index. The same is true of Hebrew words used with Karaim suffixes. These are explained separately in the commentaries. Words containing derivative suffixes only are not noted here, either. In the case of words written as one word with enclitics, the latter ones are explained in brackets. Irregular and abbreviated forms are indicated correspondingly. The morphological description is obviously synchronical, not diachronical. This means that, e.g. the postposition isne is not listed here even though it is an abbreviated form of iśŧine, which is a declined possessive form. This also applies, for instance, to the word kanuznu, which treated as an accusative form of kanuz – notwithstanding the fact that kanuz is historically an irregularly shortened form of kawod used with -unuz, i.e. there is a remnant of a possessive suffix attested in it. The alphabetical order applied in the index is the same as the one used in the glossary.
