We discuss issues raised by the commentators, such as specificationin single-energy arrays, task-specific pickup of information,general principles of the ecological approach to perception andaction, and how specification may be constrained by the facts ofphysical relativity. While the commentaries raise many importantissues we conclude that they do not undermine our argument thatspecification exists solely in the global array.
